GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR THE APPOINTMENT
OF A CSNA FOR 16 MONTHS


1 - The host Institution agrees to pay Mr ............... a monthly stipend of 9200 French Francs ( = 11800 Swedish Crowns) (*).
This sum represents a net salary.

2 - The host Institution agrees to engage Mr ............... in France, viz. to pay the fare for his travel together with the transport of his luggage (130 Kgs) from France to Sweden and back after the completion of his duty.

3 - (**) The host Institution authorizes to Mr ............... to dedicate several hours per week to the promotion of exchanges between the scientific communities of Sweden and France, in connexion with the Counsellor for Science and Technology of the French Embassy in Stockholm.

4 - Social insurance of the "CSNA" is the responsability of:

  • the host Institution which supports the "CSNA", if this host Institution is a French company, university, or laboratory
  • the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through its own insurance company, if the host Institution is not a French university or laboratory.

(*) the French Government reviews periodically the minimum amount which has to be paid to the "CSNA" (9200 FFr in October 1997). That amount, together with the current change rate between French Francs and the Swedish Crown, provides the given estimate.

(**) in case of French language lecturers:
The host Institution authorizes Mr ............... to dedicate half of his time to lecturing in French language the students, teachers, and researchers of its field, in connexion with the French Language Office (Bureau de Coopération Linguistique et Educative, BCLE) of the French Embassy in Stockholm.
